I had a cute conversation with Kaman, who is 2, this morning. Every Wednesday, I take Kaman over to my Dad's house so he can watch him while I go to the gym. And my Dad, so kindly, takes him the rest of the day just because he wants to. Well, this morning, as I was on the freeway, I missed the exit I was supposed to take to get to my dad's house. And this is how the conversation went...
Kaman: (somehow he noticed we didn't turn where we were supposed to and asks)
"Where's papa?"
Me: "Oh, I missed the exit we were supposed to get off."
Kaman: (In a very annoyed, loud voice) "WHAT!?!?"
Me: "We'll just get off this next exit instead."
As I'm pulling into the exit lane and getting off the freeway, Kaman says:
Kaman: "Yes, Good Job, Mommy."
That made me laugh. My little boy is only 2 and he's just starting to understand us and put his sentences together. Every day he amazes me. He is a smart little boy.
