Easter '09

Sorry to all my loyal followers, I’ve been MIA for a couple weeks, but I wanted to give you a run down of all our Easter activities.

We started Easter morning with the kids discovering their baskets

Kaman received 2 DVD’s, 1 of them only had construction machines on it, he points out every construction machine we pass, so I had to get this DVD for him, and the other DVD was just of fire trucks – he loves his fire trucks as well.
Danielle and Ashley both got puzzles and webkinz stuffed animals, and Duane and I received puzzles, too.

Duane wanted to start a tradition while we listen to conference where we assemble a puzzle as a family. Well, the only puzzle he had was a 1000 piece puzzle he got on his mission, and it ended up being really hard, so we never finished it. Anyway, I thought that was a fun family activity so I decided to buy us more puzzles with LESS pieces so we could at least finish them.

After finding the baskets, we headed out to the back yard to do our annual Easter egg hunt.

Then we got all ready for church in the kids cute Easter outfits and headed to church.

We ended the day with a Howell get together at Duane’s parents house in Elk Ridge.

That's so funny that you gave Kaman a DVD about constuction machinery. Looks like you guys had a fun Easter and your kids look adorable in their easter clothes.

Holly,
The puzzle story is so funny. Ben decided he wanted to do a puzzle for family night...but he could only find a 1000 piece puzzle. We spent like a week on it...never finished...and the kids lost interest. We finally decided more puzzles...less pieces.
